I love strawberries, especially when making tasty smoothie recipes for kids, but usually people don't think about really tasty complimentary fruit to go with something as simple as a strawberry. One of the types of fruits and I have found often blends really well with strawberries is kiwi fruit. What they usually do is give the smoothie a nice and sweet but also tart and tangy quality that really makes it feel a lot more exotic and tropical. Also kiwi fruit happen to be very healthy and packs nearly as much potassium is bananas do at a fraction of the size. So you can feel comfortable knowing you're giving your child the absolute best nutrition possible with this tasty and delicious drink!
